We have several prayer requests this week. We are so grateful for all of you who hold up these ladies and their children to the Father.

Our first lady is one that we have known for a long time. She has the sweetest little 10 year old daughter who has been battling brain cancer tumors since she was 3. She has been one of the few children in Childrens Hospital Houston who has made it this long. Several surgeries had stopped the spread for awhile but recently after testing, the other side of her brain has new growths. She has some symptoms that are concerning and this next week she will be having another surgery and it is not without possible bad effects . The surgery is scheduled on her birthday. Because there is no guarantee on this surgery, her parents have set up with some donations from friends to take the whole family on a 3 day vacation before the surgery. Wings helped them with groceries to take for their stay and activities for the 4 children. Lexie is the sweetest little girl even though she has been through so many serious health issues. She never complains and loves everyone. Please pray for a miracle for her.

Another lady we have worked with is a single mom of 2 and has been in transition to another job. She has been training to be a massage therapist. She has been a christian since she left the other job and has been in our church ever since with her children. Please pray that God will send her clients in this new position.

Please pray for our friend who has just moved to another town and taken on guardianship of her nephew. Pray that she will make enough working her part time job to supplement her disability income. And pray for her health that she will be free of some issues. These sometimes interrupt our plans for bible study and prayer time together.

Also, a while back we helped another lady find a lawyer get her 2 children back from an addictive father. Her lawyer won the case but now the children’s father has threatened that he will come after them again. Pray for their safety and also for this man to find Jesus and get his life back.

After the last outreach, I was able to get together with a young lady from that outreach. We had lunch and bought her groceries. Pray for more opportunities to visit with her and be a part of what God is doing with her now.

We will be having our next Outreach the last Saturday in August and there may be 3 of us from the Outreach Team to visit the ladies. Please pray that we will know with whom to talk and what God has for each one we encounter.

We are very grateful to the ladies from GABC who helped supply our gift bags for the last Outreach. This helps so much so that when we have contributions all of it goes to help our ladies who have made the transition out of the old job. Please pray for those who will help us with food trays for this next Outreach!
