Prayer and Praise August
- Our Faithful Prayer warriors!
Susan and I went into the Visions club this last Saturday night Auagust the 29th.
Ki…, and D…. were 2 blondes that sat in
the south west corner of the room and we had talked with them last few times. I Dont remember if they have children. They warmed up to us and talked more the last 20 minutes. Kiki is the one who needed a babysitter and Susan retold her she was still available so she doesn’t have to drive to Kilgore.
St….. is the one with dyed black hair and very large false eyelashes. She talks to us very openly but this recent Outreach she seemed preocuppied. She did show us her new car. She has a very young daughter I think about 4?
R…. is the one I had a call from during COVID and had funds to buy her groceries but she needed money to put down on a car around $1000 and we didn’t have that much at that time. So, I didn’t get to help her.
She has dyed her naturally blonde hair jet black with painted Red front hair. Her mom was sad because now her naturally blonde hair will not come back in. I asked her if we can take her to lunch and I already have her phone number. Susan and I will hopefully do that in the next couple weeks.
K…, the black cerebral palsy gal I have met outside the club 3 times, wasn’t there and the ladies said she is no longer working there. I need to call her as well so Susan and I can take her to lunch.
W…, Another lady who came over from Time Out club. She didn’t talk much to us but to the other ladies.
G…., the little really skinny light brown haired girl who looks very young and very insecure. She doesn’t look like she belongs in a place like that.
O…. Pretty black girl we knew from Time Out. Didn’t get to talk much to her.
De….., Black girl who stayed out at the bar and we saw her as we left.
N…., I met her walking in and she has only been there 4 days but wants to be the assistant manager and told Marshall the owner that.
C… wasn’t there and he usually is the go to guy for info who works as assistant manager or something.
N… big tall guy very friendly walked us out and asked if I knew Susan and Melodie Meedes who used to volunteer with us? I couldn’t quite remember them but the name sounded familiar. He didn’t look like he belonged there either.
They really liked the food! I told them Green Acres Baptist women made and donated all the food for them. We have an update for our little Lexie, the 10 year old daughter of Sarah and Aaron Neptune. We met Sarah years ago in the club and since then she has become a faith filled believer. She, husband ,and Lexie had to go to Houston Childrens Hospital Sunday for brain surgery Monday morn. She came out Monday evening looking great. They had the MRI yesterday to see what the cancer looks like now.
I have looked at Sarah’s postings and found that after 3 days of hard things to overcome, like her sodium levels being too low, and other side affects of such a delicate surgery, Lexie is doing well. The family is still in Houston with her until she can be discharged. I haven’t heard the results of the MRI yet. I will have a picture of her at the bottom of this report.
Because of someone I don’t know in Dallas, Wings was able to help the Neptune family with expenses for this trip to Houston . They may be there a week or more and needed gas, food, possibly hotels, car repair to get there etx. Pray that the cancer stops producing tumors and dies off!
Ni…… Is a lady I have known a long time. She was in and out of the clubs here in Tyler at least 10+ years and we just now have had an enroad into her life. She has been so hungry to grow and become a disciple for Jesus and to help others to find Him. Pray for her as she battles the after affects of many events of sexual abuse as a child that she has not quite healed from. She also had 2 brain surgeries 6+ years ago. She is on disability and can only make so much extra money and sometimes needs help with bills. She was a Christian as a teenager and molested by a youth director. She wanted to be re Baptized and so on September 26th she will be at Rose Heights church. She and I have done many bible studies together and she wants to grow more and more.
Sa…… H…….. 2 ladies I met during the Grocery Project during Covid, are ones I have done a little bible study and prayer with. Sa…… moved to another town close to Tyler and is pregnant. Wings hopes to help with a baby shower for her. She cried with me one time a few months ago because she didn’t feel worthy to give her life to Jesus. Pray for her to have a revelation of Him and His love for her! She no longer works in the club because of her pregnancy sickness and also has a little girl of 5. H……. moved to a big city to work and has had Covid 2 times now. Pray for us to be able to get together on Face Time soon. We have done several bible studies.
Please keep praying for Ch…… the lady who has been out of club for 3 years. She has been sick this year so badly that she had to postpone her courses Wings helped her obtain last year. She hopes to be well by January. The school let her transfer the funds to January. Pray for healing for her and her mother. She has had to move in with her mom because she hasn’t been able to even work her job with a nursing home.
Please pray for Mayra. She recently let me type up her testimony and put it in last Outreach gift bags for the ladies at the club. Mayra has been involved in my church for years. She is a single mom no and is taking a massage therapist training that has caused her to have some financial needs with her bills because she doesn’t have a job while going to school. She has been looking for a girl who needs a place to live to help her with bills. She has a 3 bedroom house.
